Asus has announced first hybrid OS trio laptop which runs both Windows 8 and Android in the Computes 2013 held at Taiwan. This transformer series is named as Transformer trio because of its three in one feature, ie you can use it as a laptop, desktop and a tablet. The weird features of this device is not ending, it comes with 2 CPU’s, an Intel Core i7 for running Windows 8 and an Intel Atom processor for the Android OS.

The keyboard of this laptop is easly ditachable which transforms it to a tablet and at the same time the Windows OS will be switched to Android OS. The data between two OS is also synchronised so there is no need to worry about it. You can also connect it with an external keyboard or mouse to use as a desktop. The screen size is 11.6 inch supporting a resolution of 1920×1080 which is suitable for a tablet, but not enough while using it as a laptop or desktop. It has 1TB hrd disk and 64 GB flash drive. Asus transformer is can provide a battery back up of almost 15 hrs when using as a laptop.

The date of release and price of Asus Transformer Trio is not announced yet. So will it be good to use Android OS which is a mobile OS in a laptop?
